Waking up that morning with the usual routine and preparing to go to school did not turn out so well on the morning of September 11, 2001, the moment when too much happened all at once and people all around the U.S. tried to gather their stregnth and put some sense together to what was happening. A time when people joined as one while the government took its chance to become imperial once again. We are witnessing an are in which decisions by the government are based on power an wealth. Looking back on the morning of Septbember 11, 2001 when we were attacked by al-Quaeda terrorists, the U.S. launched The War on Terrosism by invading Afghanistan, this date sure left a mark behind for the people of New York and the United States but it also sparked many questions that still remain unanswered today. Why did the U.S. military invated Iraq? The U.S. congress claimed that the Iraq War was part of the global war on terrorism. The 2002 Congressional resolution allowed the military force agaisnt Iraq to "prosecute the war on terrorism", then one month after the invation on April 2003, a poll found that 77% of Americans agreed that the Iraq War was part of the War on Terrorism and focused on the threat from Al-Qaeda.
